What type of instrument can I plug into Diffractor Soundings effect pedals?
You can plug any electric guitar or bass in our pedals. Diffractor Soundings pedals also accept line level and other hot signals (such as pre-amplified microphone, mixers, synths, drum machines, turntables…) as long as you know what you are doing. If you use a line level input signal, you will have to adjust its level or gain before getting into a Diffractor Soundings device to make sure you do not damage your pedal. Feel free to contact us if you have any doubt about your input signal compliance with our devices.

Where can I plug my Diffractor Soundings effect pedals into?
You can plug your Diffractor Soundings pedals into an amplifier input (or two, if you have a stereo pedal) or plug the output(s) of the pedal directly into an audio interface or a mixing console. Please refer to the user manual of your Diffractor Soundings device if you have any doubt.

What expression pedal can I plug into Diffractor Soundings effect pedals?
You can plug any expression pedal as long as it is using a TRS jack (Stereo jack). Make sure the “sleeve” is connected to the ground, the “ring” carries the 5V and the “tip” carries the returning signal from the expression pedal in order to avoid any short circuit that may damage the pedal. What type of CV (Control Voltage) signal can I use with my Diffractor Soudings device?
If your Diffractor Soundings device has a CV Input, you must use a CV signal that goes from 0V to 5V originating from a modular sequencer or a sequencer pedal for example. Make sure beforehand the “EXP/CV” toggled switch next to the CV Input is in “CV” position in order to avoid any short circuit. You can use a TS Jack (Mono Jack) or a TRS Jack (Stereo Jack) as long as you are sure the “tip” carries the CV signal. What type of power supply can I use?
You can use any 9V (or 9.6V max) center negative power supply from any brand.
